Jetski Instructor package PWCI

Candidates must have at least one seasons of jetski experience. • First Aid Certificate • RYA Membership (this can be completed at the Zephyr Office)

Included in your PW Jetski Instructor Package (PWCI) is the RYA PW Proficiency Course and the RYA PW Instructor Course:

RYA Personal Watercraft Proficiency (PWC)

No previous experience is required for this course. The course will cover over one day; Launching, handling and recovery skills, passage planning and decision making, high and low speed riding skills, essential safety information, collision avoidance and orientation at sea.

After completion of this course you will be self-sufficient in good conditions, aware of the limitations of the craft and yourself. 

RYA Personal Watercraft Instructor course (PWCI)

Personal Watercraft (PW) Instructors are experienced PW drivers who have been trained and assessed to run the RYA's Personal Watercraft Proficiency Course and the Introduction to PW Safety course, which is for guests on Superyacht charter holidays.

The minimum age is 16. The Three day course is run by an RYA PW Trainer and assessed by an independent Trainer with a moderation on the third day. The qualification will be valid for Five years from the date of issue, provided that a valid first aid certificate is maintained

Candidates who are already qualified as an RYA Powerboat Instructor may attend a one day conversion course, rather than the full three day course.
