Cannes Yachting Festival 2022

Cannes Yachting Festival 2022 with Zephyr Yachting

As the 1st In-Water European Show, Cannes Yachting Festival is a great place to see the latest maritime debuts, new products and catching up with clients and industry acquaintances.

Cannes Yachting Festival 2022

For six days from September 6 to 11, our Zephyr Yachting team visited the show where a range of yacht toys, nautical products and almost 650 motor yachts, sailing boats, tenders and catamarans were on display.  In particular, during this edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival, 140 world premieres were unveiled, representing over 20% of the boats on display.

Colin Hamilton, CEO and Founder of Zephyr Yachting, said Cannes Yachting Festival remains an important event for the company.  “It’s important for our team to be here on the ground at Cannes show, as we are present at other major boat shows too.  During the week, we build on our existing relationships, and spend time reviewing all the latest yacht toys and innovations with tenders.”

Taking place in Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto, Cannes Yachting Festival has a prime location right in the heart of the Cote d’Azur. Vieux-Port was split into 7 exhibition zones that covered nautical suppliers, shipyards, large vessels and marine accessories.  Inside the Palais, visitors could find a range of exhibitors that represented luxury lifestyle brands, service companies and businesses focused on interiors.  Floating pontoons helped with the movement of yachts going for sea trials in the bay of Cannes, and pedestrians to travel across all of Vieux-Port in one go, without having to turn around.

At Vieux-Port, yachting brands had strong representation including Azimut, Ferretti, Baglietto, Gulf Craft, Sunseeker, Sanlorenzo, Jeanneau while over at Port Canto, visitors to the show could discover the Sail Area as well as the Yacht Brokerage and Toys Area.   There was also a focus on eco-friendly development by enabling exhibitors to showcase their innovations, in particular through the ‘Green Route’ and ‘Innovation Village’ with sustainable concepts, hybrid propulsion and electric tenders on display.
