OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

We are looking for an Office Administrator to join our growing team in Antibes. The role of Office Administrator is to provide assistance to all departments of the company. The Office Administrator is a position that requires the holder to be supportive, flexible and reactive to the needs of the team.

Location: ANTIBES, Flexible office working hours with a possibility of partial remote working.

Main Duties:

  • Greet office visitors, answer and direct phone calls
  • Providing administrative assistance to the Training Operations Manager, Registering and producing certificates and processing course paperwork.
  • Provide direct administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events; booking travel; maintaining file systems; mailing and shipping packages; and updating contacts database
  • Organize office operations and procedures
  • Producing Invoices for client payments
  • Ensure that Office and classrooms are kept stocked with stationary and supplies.
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease.
  • Organising and Tracking maintenance of the companies fleet of vessels and equipment. 
  • Organising the payment of invoices 
  • Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements 
  • Knowledge of RYA Scheme (highly desirable)
  • Fluent English is required.
  • French speaking required as you will be responsible for liasing with all French suppliers. 
  • Must be eligible to work on a French contract.

TRAINING OPERATIONS MANAGER

Zephyr Yachting are looking for a training operations manager to join their growing team in Antibes. Candidates should be happy working within a team environment or alone, Be dynamic and approachable. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operations of the busy training department ensuring excellent customer service is provided at all times. 

Main Duties:

  • Organising Crew Training Courses; Scheduling a variety of different training courses, booking instructors to teach courses, co-ordinating Instructor travel and availability.
  • Providing information and advise to inquiring clients. Through Telephone, email and walk in inquiries in an efficient, professional and timely manner.
  • Managing Client bookings and ensuring clients receive all information needed before during and after their training courses.
  • Managing Client payments for training courses. 
  • Organising facilities and resources needed for training courses, including vessel and classroom schedules. 
  • Prospecting potential clientele. 
  • Remarketing Training courses to previous clients through phone and email targeting. 
  • Liaising closely with Marketing team to build campaigns on social media and through other channels to promote training courses. 
  • Building partnerships with other businesses in order to build a larger client base. 
  • Assisting other departments where required.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in an administrative role.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Comfortable in a sales capacity 
  • Conversant with Microsoft packages and ability to demonstrate proficiency with outlook and publisher, in particular.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Confident and able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of RYA Scheme (highly desirable)
  • Fluent English is required
  • French speaking (desirable)
  • Must be eligible to work on a French contract

SALES AND CHARTER MANAGER

Full time, Salary: Depending on experience and qualifications 

Location: Antibes, France 

Start date: ASAP 

The sales and charter manager will run Zephyr Yachting Luxury Tender and Watertoy division. The candidate will work on building existing client relationships with a goal to expand and grow this department.

Main Duties: 

  • Create proposals and presentations for clients for Tenders & Toys across both Sales & Brokerage. 
  • Supporting the director in the follow up of leads and proposals. 
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, looking to expand the brands we currently work with.
  • Cross referencing with suppliers on availability, pricing and lead-times. 
  • Organising deliveries of products to clients in a timely and cost efficient manner. 
  • Managing the schedule of Zephyr yachting’s charter fleet of Tenders and Watertoys.
  • Working on developing relationships with new build and refit projects, 
  • Creating quotations and invoices, using accounting software. Managing client payments. 
  • Event co-ordination including representing the company at trade shows organisation of show logistics and set-up of events. 

 

Requirements: 

  • This role is ideal for individuals who have experience in the yachting industry or ex-crew member looking to move a shore. 
  • Previous Sales experience essential 
  • Fluent spoken and written English 
  • Excellent Computer Skills 
  • A knowledge of the yachting industry 
  • French Language is a plus 
  • Must have pre-existing right to live and work in France

Zephyr Yachting is an RYA training centre offering Powerboat, Personal Watercraft, Motor cruising and Sail cruising schemes. 

Zephyr Yachting also provide sales and charter of some of the very best luxury Watertoys to the superyacht industry, including electric surfboards, electric hydrofoils, underwater scooters and much more. We also provide training to our clients in these disciplines. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic new team member with a background in RYA training, we are looking for someone who is passionate about Watersports. 

 

The ideal candidate will: 

• Have a professional attitude 

• Be prepared to travel potentially with short notice in order to provide training across the Mediterranean 

• Be flexible in your job role and willing to assist in all other duties as requested 

• Be able to work well within a team and maintain effective working relationships with other team members 

• Able to work well using your own initiative and to follow both verbal and written instructions accurately 

• Have a knowledge of the Yachting Industry 

• Be Self-motivated, Flexible, Punctual 

• Keep a clean and tidy appearance 

• Be Approachable, welcoming, friendly, and enthusiastic 

 

Qualifications & Experience Required: 

• An RYA Cruising Instructor qualification 

• First Aid certificate that is valid for the duration of your contract 

• A confident level of English 

• Full driving license with EU driving rights 

• Trailer license is desirable
