Power Boat Level 2, Course Information

The RYA power boat level 2 course is the most suitable qualification for those who want to drive yacht tenders, ribs and speed boats. For those who want to work on a yacht it will increase your chances of securing yacht work if you have obtained the power boat certificate. The RYA powerboat level II is a great starting point to power boating and gives you a chance to learn about boat handling, crew rope work, close quarters handling, high speed manoeuvres, man overboard recovery and collision regulations along with basic navigation, passage planning, pilotage and weather.

85% of the RYA power boat level 2 course is practical and hands on giving you as much practical experience as possible, with 15% class room orientated over a two day period.

The RYA Powerboat level II is our most popular course in Antibes and on the French Riviera and is very popular within the yachting and pleasure boat community.
